Portland is now closed to visitors after six and a half months of heavy snow and a major blizzard.
The closure is part of a six-month closure order from the state and local governments to keep the city safe, as well as to reduce the number of visitors from the Portland area.

The Portland Parks and Recreation Department says the snow, along with the heavy rain and winds, has left roads impassable and the snow-covered roads have caused damage to the roads.
The city’s recreation center is open for business as usual, but it’s unclear how long the center will be open for the next couple of weeks, officials said.
The Oregon Department of Transportation said the Portland State Fair is also open and the Fairgrounds of Oregon are open, but those have been shut down.
