An infographic from the Tourism Board of Australia shows which destinations have a higher number of tourists per capita than other countries, according to the number of foreigners visiting Australia.
According to the TBO, Australia has the second-highest number of foreign tourists per head of population, with a population of just over 13 million.

The United Kingdom, France and Germany have the third-largest foreign populations, followed by the United States and China.
Australia has seen a steady increase in its population of foreign visitors in recent years, with more than 1.6 million people visiting the country last year.
Australia is also a major destination for expats who work in the region.
The TBO shows that Australian expats are the most likely to live in the United Kingdom and Germany, with the United Arab Emirates, the Philippines and the United Republic of Tanzania the next most likely destinations.
Australia’s population is also rising, with some estimates suggesting the country’s population could increase to more than 19 million by 2060.
